Forma Films
Forma is a film studio built by people who came up on set. We shoot documentaries, features, commercials, and long-form conversation work, and we treat all of it like it deserves the same care, because it does.
Who we are
The studio grew out of relationships, not a business plan. Crews we’ve trusted for years, collaborators we call first, people who know how the day is supposed to run. That shorthand is the real asset: fewer conversations, faster decisions, and a set where the energy goes into the work instead of the logistics.
We’re small on purpose. You get the people who pitched the idea standing behind the camera on the day.
How we work
Every project starts with listening. Before we talk about lenses or locations, we want to understand what you’re actually trying to move: a market, a mind, an audience that hasn’t heard of you yet. Then we build the plan backward from there, and we’re honest about what a budget can and can’t carry.
From there we handle all of it: development, producing, directing, cinematography, sound, post, delivery. One team, one point of contact, no handoffs where the intent gets lost.

What we believe
Documentary taught us to sit still long enough for something true to show up. Narrative taught us how to build a frame that carries feeling before anyone says a word. Commercial work taught us discipline: that a good idea still has to land in thirty seconds, on schedule, on budget.
We bring all three to whatever we’re making. The result is work that looks like cinema and behaves like strategy.
